Object Projects
"Personal design projects are deeply rooted in the process of researching and referencing vintage furniture pieces. I find inspiration in the textures, proportions, and material honesty of objects from past eras—each carrying its own narrative and design logic reflective of its time. This exploration is not merely nostalgic; it is a way to understand how design responded to social, technological, and aesthetic shifts throughout the last century. By closely studying and restoring archival pieces, I gain a tactile appreciation for industrial design history, which I then reinterpret into new forms. The goal is not to replicate the past, but to carry forward its essence—refining old ideas into thoughtful, modern design objects that speak to today while honoring yesterday."
